Nearly 1 in 4 adolescents are overweight or obese in Europe. Tackling obesity is not as simple as telling people to exercise more or eat less. Obesity is the problem of a society full of aggressive marketing, bodyshaming and bullying towards obese people. This is why the TAO project was created. Together with 8 partners from 5 EU Member States, we have developed training materials and multidisciplinary training to provide adolescents with basic nutritional and behavioral knowledge; and to promote inclusion in the school environment.

For more information about our project, we invite you to visit our website and view our video.
The objective of the conference is to present the materials and training to the public and to discuss opportunities to make schools more inclusive. A series of high-level speakers are invited to talk about the challenges that adolescents may face at school and to discuss the adaptation of policies at the national and European level. Question-and-answer sessions will also be organized to allow participants to engage in interactive dialogue after each session.
