The European Childhood Obesity Group

ECOG is a pan-European group of professionals dealing with childhood obesity and overweight.

ECOG brings together experts from across the board including pediatricians, psychologists,
nutritionists, geneticists, physical activity experts, economists and many more.
The group was founded in 1991 and its mission is to help the European community at large
to fully understand the health, social, psychological and economic impacts of childhood obesity,
and work together to take this growing problem off the menu in Europe.

Your safety is our primary concern.

Given the continuing impact of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and resulting restrictions,
ECOG has decided to transition the live 30th ECOG Congress scheduled to take place in Budapest
from 11-14 November 2020 to an interactive and engaging online event.

Full details outlining the format will be announced as soon as possible.
ECOG intends to host the 2021 ECOG Congress in Budapest.
