The 32nd annual congress on childhood obesity will be hosted by the Bulgarian Association for the Study of Obesity and Related Diseases (BASORD). The congress will take place in Albena on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria from the 7th to the 9th of September this year.
The programme is organized into six main tracks covering different aspects of the prevention and management of childhood obesity:
- Track 1: Prevention programmes and tools.
- Track 2: Dietary interventions in childhood obesity.
- Track 3: Physical activity and screen time.
- Track 4: Psycho-social aspects in childhood obesity
- Track 5: Pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery in children.
- Track 6: Others.
The entire programme will soon be available.
The Organizing Committee encourages registered participants to contribute to the scientific excellence of the Congress by sharing research results through oral presentations and posters.
Abstracts should be structured as follows:
All abstracts must be submitted in one Word file. Abstracts must be written in English, numbered and in the correct sequence.
- Background/Aims: What is the major problem that prompted the study?
- Methods: How was the study performed?
- Results: Most important findings?
- Conclusion: Most important conclusion?
- Titles must be given in sentence case (not in capital or lower case only).
- Authors: without titles or degrees, one forename must be given in full.
- Affiliation: name and address of department(s) and institution(s) to which the work should be attributed.
- Number of words: 250-350 or according to the Conference Guidelines.
- One figure or table per Abstract can be included.
Deadline for abstract submission: 10th of June, 2023
