Céad Míle Fáilte (a hundred thousand welcomes) to the website of the 19th Workshop of The European Childhood Obesity Group (ECOG), which will take place from 17th-19th September 2009 in Dublin, Ireland. It will be our honor to host an ECOG workshop in Ireland for the first time and we hope that delegates from across the globe will participate in this seminal event.

The 2009 workshop will provide an exciting scientific programme and will act as a unique platform for collaboration between clinicians, researchers and other interested professionals. Our interactive meeting will act as a forum for the free exchange of ideas and information and the scientific programme will reflect the main areas of interest within the field of paediatric obesity.

Ireland is well known for its 'craic agus ceoil' (fun and music) and the social programme of the 2009 workshop will no doubt offer delegates an opportunity to sample some our cultural and historic delights.
